i know that one well (the vice-versa version). the only real self respect comes from clarity. clarity takes the bumps out of the road, so you can focus on the voyage instead. you can´t be mad at yourself for the last fall, only proud to see you have walked some distance. i thought i was a real piece of work 2 years ago. i could list the awful things i had done. they made me walk with a knot in my stomach. that feeling does go away with time.
@"anonymous" - thank you casey.
A funny coincidence: just after I read that quote, K told me the gorgeous home-made scarf he borrowed from me, the one I crocheted with my own blood, sweat and tears, made him look like Quentin Crisp.
He doesn't mean anything nasty with that, because he's still got that scarf.
@ SubtleKnife - As someone who doesn't believe in "coincidences" per se, I'm moved to encourage you to consider what the universe is trying to tell you by this alignment of events. If you consider it a "wink" or "arrow to greater understanding" - what information is there for you?
Food for thought. xo, he gay
To make more scarves?
You can NEVER have enough scarves...
I never mentioned that I know the vice-versa very well, I've had 15 years to study it...
